E80 Group, based in the Birmingham area, is seeking an Automation Engineer to join the Customer Service Operations team responsible for after-sales activities. The role involves maintaining, repairing, upgrading, and performing preventive maintenance on machines installed at client sites across the UK and Ireland.
The position requires travel across Europe with occasional trips outside Europe. A technical qualification in electromechanical or industrial automation is essential, with 4–5+ years
Qualifications
- Technical qualification in electromechanical or industrial automation.
- 4–5+ years of prior experience as Electrical, Electromechanical, or Service Technician in automation/manufacturing.
- Strong ability to read electrical/hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.
Responsabilités
- Keep all E80 system components running through regular inspections and maintenance.
- Carry out preventive maintenance tasks.
- Perform corrective maintenance or troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Calibrate or configure individual machines or devices.
- Handle upgrades or modifications on older systems.
- Prepare reports and spare parts lists after completing work.
- Monitor the E80 system's performance and report issues.
