Hilton Food Group seeks an Automation Engineer for our Grimsby site to provide frontline maintenance on automated equipment, including the ColdStore, and to diagnose faults safely to minimise downtime and sustain production.

Applicants should have a time-served apprenticeship or NVQ3, be multi-skilled, and demonstrate a strong, hands-on, team-oriented approach with proven manufacturing experience. Great benefits and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline maintenance and breakdown support for automated equipment.
• Diagnose electrical, control, automation and mechanical faults.
• Maintain production flow and downtime minimisation.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and specialists.
• Support automated ColdStore and equipment reliability.
