Job summary

Tesco Stores Limited is seeking a multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical and electrical bias to join our Property Function in Scotland. You will prioritise maintaining and repairing brand-new equipment, applying your technical knowledge to ensure outstanding performance and continuous improvement while keeping safety at the fore.

Based at our Urban Fulfilment Centre, you will perform inspections, complete maintenance tasks, log findings in the CMMS, and collaborate with colleagues across

Qualifications

• Full engineering apprenticeship completed or NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject.
• Experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Hands-on work in highly automated equipment maintenance.
• Electrical/mechanical cross-skill training.
• Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance to a high standard and log or schedule any items for revisits.
• Operate safely and assess risks for each job.
• Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across departments.
• Monitor site performance and focus on availability and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate shift reports and CMMS records.
