Job summary

Jane Street seeks an Infrastructure Security Engineer to strengthen cross‑platform security across its IT stack. You will design, test and automate security controls and deliver tooling via PowerShell and Python while integrating security products through APIs.

You’ll work hands‑on and provide technical guidance to secure internal IT and remote platforms, drive vulnerability management, and partner with IT Engineering to scale security across three continents.

Qualifications

• Proficient in securing Windows OS platforms and resolving complex technical issues.
• Hands-on experience with integrated security technologies for safeguarding Windows OS.
• Administer endpoint security and vulnerability management solutions.
• Knowledgeable about OS hardening and PAM.
• Understand common threat tactics, techniques and countermeasures.
• Experience with Windows core infra services (AD/EntraID, PKI).
• Aims to automate scalable security practices.
• Familiar with security tooling and APIs.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, implement and document strategic security controls across IT platforms.
• Coordinate security solutions and automate intelligent workflows.
• Secure internal IT and remote working platforms through hands‑on work and consultancy.
• Develop new security tooling and drive vulnerability management initiatives.
