Automation Design Expert - Cambridge

Newton Colmore is partnered with a start‑up biotechnology company in Cambridge, and we are helping them find automation design experts.

The company is developing a novel biotechnology product that solves problems by combining complex automation technology and robotics. You will be joining their research and development team and utilising your mechanical engineering or electronics knowledge to lead the development of ground‑breaking robotic systems.

Responsibilities
  • Lead development activities, designing robust mechanisms from initial design phase, through testing, and readying for manufacture.
  • Formulate strategies and set development paths with new technology.
  • Play a pivotal role in developing world‑class biotechnology product as part of an engineering and scientific team.
  • Engage in hands‑on design work and collaborate with senior leaders.
