Qualifications

  • Experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of automatic door systems.
  • Hold a valid EN 16005 certificate, or have held one in the past.

Automatic Door Engineer

Scotland

An award-winning, national market leader in the automatic door industry is looking to expand its service engineering team in Scotland. The role offers exciting prospects for personal growth and development. The package includes a basic salary of up to £38,000, 33 days holiday, pension plan, efficiency bonus as well as a lucrative callout and overtime scheme.

Responsibilities
  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic doors manufactured by companies such as Assa Abloy, Record, Geze, Dorma, Stanley, Tormax, Horton, Label, and more
  • Fault finding on electrical, mechanical, and electronic equipment
  • Basic electrical wiring
  • Adhering to BS EN 16005 standards
Qualifications
  • Be experienced working for an EN 16005 recognised automatic door company
  • Be experience servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of automatic door systems
  • Hold a valid EN 16005 certificate, or at least have held one in the past
  • Have a clean driving licence
  • Hold a CSCS Card
  • Have experience electrical and mechanical fault finding
Remuneration
  • Basic salary up to £38,000 depending on experience
  • Pay review after probation and every twelve months
  • Home-based, door to door pay
  • Call out rota 1 week in every 10. £275 per week standby fee when on call
  • Overtime at 1.5 paid between 6pm - 8am during the week and all hours worked on weekends
