Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking an Automatic Door Engineer to service, maintain, repair and install automatic door systems across a range of commercial sites in the United Kingdom.

You will work on automatic sliding and swing doors, diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and support out-of-hours call-outs. A full UK driving licence and EN16005 qualifications are preferred.

The role offers a salary of £40,000-£50,000 (DOE), a company van, pension, overtime, and 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Formación

• Solid experience as an Automatic Door Engineer.
• Confident working independently.
• Strong knowledge of automatic sliding and swing doors.
• Experience servicing, repairing, installing and commissioning equipment across multiple manufacturers.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with aluminium, steel and all-glass doors is advantageous.
• Good customer-facing communication and reporting skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• EN16005 qualification strongly preferred; relevant industry qualifications beneficial.
• Flexible to assist with out-of-hours call-outs.
• Previous experience in a smaller door or engineering business is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Record equipment and other brands like Dorma and Geze.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and adjustments to doors.
• Identify faults and required parts after site visits.
• Complete electronic job reports and communicate with customers and office.
• Work with another engineer or independently on jobs.
• Assist with servicing, installation and maintenance of manual doors when required.
• Occasional out-of-hours call-outs, including evenings and weekends.

Our client is a door manufacturing, installation and maintenance specialist, providing a range of door solutions to commercial customers.

On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit an Automatic Door Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, repairing and installing automatic door systems across a range of customer sites.

Package:

• Salary £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE)

Automatic Door Engineer - Responsibilities:

• Service, maintain, repair and fault find on automatic door systems.
• Install and commission new automatic door equipment.
• Work on both automatic sliding and automatic swing doors.
• Attend breakdowns and diagnose faults across multiple manufacturers.
• Work predominantly with Record equipment while being confident with other major brands, including Dorma and Geze.
• Carry out mechanical repairs and adjustments to both automatic and manual doors.
• Identify faults, required parts and remedial works following site attendance.
• Complete accurate electronic job reports and communicate clearly with customers and the office.
• Work alongside another engineer on many jobs, while being capable of attending and completing suitable jobs independently.
• Carry out servicing, installation and maintenance of manual aluminium, steel and all-glass door systems where required.
• Assist with occasional out-of-hours call-outs, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.

Automatic Door Engineer - Requirements:
