Job summary

Allgood in London is seeking an EN 16005 accredited Automatic Door Engineer to join our field-based team. You will install, service, maintain and repair automatic door systems across a varied portfolio of commercial and public sector sites, travelling daily across London and surrounding areas.

You will work independently, conduct safety inspections, complete accurate service reports, and engage with clients to deliver a safe, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Proven automatic door and entrance system experience.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work independently and manage site work effectively.
• A full UK driving licence.

We are looking for an EN 16005-accredited Automatic Door Engineer to join Allgood. You will help keep entrances safe, compliant and reliable, with a company vehicle, ongoing manufacturer and industry training, and overtime opportunities.

• Install, service, maintain and repair automatic door systems.
• Carry out safety inspections and compliance checks in accordance with EN 16005.
• Find and resolve faults across different manufacturers and systems.
• Deliver safe, efficient work and provide a professional service to clients and site contacts.
• Complete accurate service reports and documentation on time.

What you will bring

Travel and call-outs

You will travel throughout London and the surrounding areas each day and participate in out-of-hours call-outs when required.

Additional experience we would welcome

Access control knowledge, experience across a range of automatic door manufacturers, and work on commercial, retail, healthcare, education or public sector sites. These are desirable rather than essential.
