Qualifications

AutoCAD Technician

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Technician to join our well established client, specialising in the setting out and drawing of bespoke joinery. The successful candidate will work closely with design, production, and installation teams to produce accurate technical drawings for high-quality, custom-made joinery projects.

Job Duties

• Produce detailed drawings for bespoke joinery projects
• Interpret architectural and design drawings and convert them into manufacturable joinery drawings
• Use AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to create precise technical drawings
• Revise and update drawings as projects develop
• Ensure drawings meet required quality standards, tolerances, and project specifications
• Assist with problem‑solving and technical solutions where required

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AutoCAD Technician, ideally within Bespoke Joinery
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor is highly desirable
• Candidates with SolidWorks experience
• Good understanding of joinery construction methods and materials
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
