Casado Design, part of ZenaTech Inc., is seeking a reliable 2D CAD Technician to produce, update and maintain precise 2D drawings. You will liaise with colleagues and clients, manage priorities, and ensure deadlines are met while following drawing standards and QA procedures.

Applicants should have CAD experience in a professional office environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to learn new skills. Training and support may be available.

This position would suit someone who has experience working in a professional office environment and brings a calm, responsible, and dependable approach to their work. Previous CAD experience is required, although practical office experience, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn are equally important.

You will work with colleagues and project teams to produce, update, and maintain accurate 2D technical drawings.

Key responsibilities

• Producing and amending 2D CAD drawings from sketches, specifications, and project information
• Updating drawings following internal or client feedback
• Checking drawings for accuracy, consistency, and completeness
• Maintaining organised drawing files, records, and version control
• Liaising professionally with colleagues, clients, and other project stakeholders

• A relevant technical qualification
