AutoCAD - Project Engineer

An established engineering company based in near Keele is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join their internal team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical engineering and 2D AutoCAD who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and growing business.

The Role

You'll be responsible for overseeing and progressing new pumping station projects from design through to material procurement and delivery. This role offers the chance to work across multiple projects in a dynamic, technically rewarding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and modify technical drawings using 2D AutoCAD
  • Prepare parts lists and support material procurement to ensure competitive pricing
  • Produce and maintain O&M manuals and related documentation
  • Assist with the preparation of quotations within set deadlines

Details

Based at the head office in Woore, Cheshire

Office hours: 08:00 - 18:00

Workshop hours: Typically 08:00 - 16:30

Flexibility: Option to work contracted hours over 4 days (subject to workload and manager discretion)

Due to the rural location, own transport is essential

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 DOE

30 days' holiday (including statutory), rising to 33 days after 1 year

Annual performance bonus (non-contractual)
