Job summary

A technical recruitment agency is seeking an AutoCAD Engineer to work on process flow and detailed design for varied anaerobic digestion plants in the UK. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD, experience in producing engineering drawings, and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities include maintaining drawings, conducting site visits, and supporting project delivery. The role comes with a salary of £45,000 plus car allowance. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D desirable).
  • Experience producing various engineering drawings.
  • Attention to detail with document control and revision management.

Responsibilities

  • Understand process flow, tanks, engineering.
  • Maintain and update detailed drawings including P&IDs and layouts.
  • Produce drawings for project proposals and improvement works.
  • Undertake routine site visits to ensure drawings reflect installations.
  • Support change management procedures and document control.
  • Assist with installation and commissioning of projects.
  • Promote safe systems of work and contribute to safety culture.

MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an AutoCAD Engineer to work on process flow & detailed design on varied AD plant. This is an interesting opportunity to work within a design team who also support project delivery across the UK.

As the AutoCAD Engineer you will be responsible for:
  • You must understand the process flow, tanks, engineering etc.
  • Maintaining & updating detailed drawings including P&IDs & layouts
  • Producing drawings for project proposals & improvement works
  • Undertaking routine site visits to ensure drawings reflect live installations
  • Supporting change management procedures & document control
  • Assisting with installation & commissioning of improvement projects
  • Promoting safe systems of work & contributing to a positive safety culture
  • Other duties as required
