Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)?

We're currently looking for Autism Support Assistants to join our education supply agency. We offer a variety of placements - from day-to-day supply cover to longer-term assignments - in schools that provide specialist support for children with additional needs.

Your responsibilities
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support for children with Autism and related communication or sensory needs
  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering structured, engaging, and inclusive learning activities
  • Implementing strategies to manage behaviour and promote positive learning outcomes
  • Assisting with social skills, emotional regulation, and independence development
  • Creating a safe, nurturing, and encouraging classroom environment
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children or young people with Autism (school, nursery, or care setting)
  • A patient, empathetic, and resilient attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEN support (desirable but not essential)
