Job Title: Autism Teaching Assistant
Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
Salary Scale: up to £100 a day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temp to Perm

GSL Education are currently looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant for one of our client Primary schools in Tower Hamlets , East London. The school is lookingfor someone who can start ASAP and has experience working with ASD individuals and small groups of Autistic children.

About Autism Teaching Assistant Role:

  • You will be working closely in Year 6 to motivate and encourage ASD children to reach their full potential.
  • Supporting children with special educational needs
  • Provide 1:1 individual support for a range of Autistic children


Ideal candidates will:

  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant.
  • Be able to support pupils who have Autism
  • Have basic understanding of childhood development and steps to support children
  • Have knowledge and able to implement strategies to support ASD children

Have Good communication and interpersonal skills.
