Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Support Worker for a full-time position. Located at a Day Centre for adults with Autism, you will assist learners in their classes and life skills. The role offers a competitive salary of £25,000 and paid training to a Masters level in ABA. Ideal candidates will have experience in support work and a driving license for transportation. This position is Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm.

Job description

Are you an experienced Support Worker with Autism? Do you want to move out of supported living and residential into a more activity and education led service? Do you want paid training to a masters level?

This role is a Monday to Friday 9am-5pm position.

I am working with a Day Centre for adults with Autism to find Autism Support Workers to assist their learners in their classes, activities and life skills.

This role may require personal care in some instances, not all the time but some.

The Learning Support Worker is a permanent full time role paying £25,000 based off 37.5 hours a week and a Monday to Friday working pattern.You will also receive training up to Masters level in ABA.

The successful candidate must have
  • Experience in Support Work or Education with people with learning disabilities, autism
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour and be willing to complete personal care where required
  • Enthusiasm, passion, sense of humour and drive to learn
  • Driving License (Due to the location) or be able to get to Guildford for the shuttle bus
