Responsibilities

  • Supporting learners with autism to develop communication, social and life skills.
  • Using structured approaches such as TEACCH and personalised anxiety management strategies - Training on these can be provided
  • Promoting inclusion and engagement across lessons and activities
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
  • Encouraging progress and confidence through empathy, patience, and positivity
