Job summary

University of Cambridge seeks an outstanding Assistant Research Professor to lead the Autism and Physical Health Programme within the KLY Centre for Autism Research. The post holder will provide scientific leadership, oversee high-quality research, and drive translation to policy and clinical practice.

The successful candidate will have a PhD, a strong publication record, external funding evidence, and excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in health data and epidemiology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scientific leadership for the Autism and Physical Health Programme and lead high-quality research.
  • Develop competitive grant applications to fund the programme.

  • Translate findings into policy and healthcare improvements and inform practice.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, policymakers and the autism community to shape future directions.
