Job summary

Ambitious about Autism is seeking a Specialist Teaching Assistant to support autistic young people at our West London campus. You will provide personalised, often 1:1, support to help learners develop skills, confidence and independence both in college and in the community.

The role involves working closely with teaching staff to support learning, communication and personal development, with a rewarding opportunity to see direct impact on the learners’ lives. DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and motivated to help autistic young people develop their skills, confidence and independence.
• Ability to provide personalised support, often 1:1, within college and in the community.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with teaching and specialist staff.
