North London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join the Autism and Learning Disabilities Team at the Tavistock Centre. The role focuses on diagnostic assessment for autistic young people and their families, supporting clinical psychologists and a multidisciplinary team in a high-pace CAMHS environment.

You will gain clinical skills in assessment, intervention, and service delivery, with opportunities for clinical audits, research and quality improvement activities.

Qualifikationen

• 2.1 or 1st class honours in Psychology (or equivalent).
• Experience in mental health settings is desirable.
• Desirable: training in ADOS/ADI-R or similar diagnostic tools.
• Knowledge of autism and CAMHS context is beneficial.

Aufgaben

• Assist with diagnostic assessments for autism and social communication concerns.
• Support waiting list oversight, referrals coordination and data collection.
• Contribute to service development, audits and quality improvement projects.
• Participate in clinical supervision and training of other staff.
