Job summary

Remarkable Autism Ltd's Wargrave House School is seeking Teaching Support Assistants for term-time roles (190 days) plus 7 additional days. The position is 5 days a week, 37.5 hours, with a pro-rata salary of £23,468–£24,528 per annum including SEN.

As a Teaching Support Assistant, you will work under the guidance of the class teacher, supporting learners on their educational and life journeys. The charity offers autism-specific training and a clear career progression path with mentoring.

Qualifications

• Proof of right to work in the UK required at interview.
• References will be requested for shortlisted candidates.
• Enhanced DBS check including child and adult barred lists required.

Responsibilities

• Play a vital role within the classroom team, supporting learners on their educational and life journeys under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Assist with nurturing and developing learners alongside other staff, contributing to ongoing staff development and mentoring.
