Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Worksop is seeking an Autism Support Worker to join the team on a part-time basis. You will work up to 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00–15:00, in an autism day care setting in the town centre.

You will support service users with moderate to severe autism, following care plans and providing daily activities while completing necessary paperwork and household tasks to promote dignity and independence.

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months or on update service.
  • Training in Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Autism Awareness and Moving and Handling.
  • A reference covering a minimum of 3 months in a Support Worker role within an Autism Service.

Responsibilities

  • Attend to personalised care plans and daily activities with residents.
  • Complete relevant paperwork and maintain records.
  • Assist with household and domestic duties to support independence.
  • Provide care to service users with moderate to severe autism with dignity.
