Job summary

Scottish Autism in Lanark seeks a Senior Autism Practitioner (Team Leader) to guide a dedicated team within our South West Area Services. You will oversee delivery of person-centred support, coach colleagues, and build strong relationships with families and partner agencies to help autistic adults thrive.

With 37 hours per week, you will contribute to recruitment, staff development and service improvement while progressing along a clear pay scale.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory/management within social care.
• Experience supporting autistic people.
• Experience coaching/mentoring colleagues.
• Willingness to gain SVQ Level 4 and LMC, as provided by the organisation.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Autism Practitioners to deliver high-quality support.
• Coach and mentor staff to maintain best practice across services.
• Collaborate with families, agencies and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Participate in recruitment and contribute to service development.
