Qualifications
- 5+ years in food industry roles, including Technical / Quality Roles.
- HACCP and Lead Auditor certifications.
- Completed at least 10 audits and 15+ audit days, including 5 BRCGS Food audits.
Responsibilities
- Deliver audits for accredited/non-accredited food safety standards.
- Produce audit reports and manage corrective actions.
- Support internal auditing and drive improvements through our QMS.

We're Hiring: Auditor (Food Safety & Certification)

About the Role:
We're looking for a highly motivated Auditor to join our certification team. You’ll lead and deliver audits for various food safety standards, support accreditation processes, and contribute to internal quality improvements. This role also involves occasional training delivery, client support, and technical input for our sales and operations teams.Ideally, we're looking for someone located within these regions: East Midlands, West Midlands, London, South East, South West (Bristol, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Dorset).
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver audits for accredited/non-accredited food safety standards (e.g. BRCGS, FSSC 22000).
- Produce audit reports and manage the close out of corrective actions ensuring that Certification Programme Owner KPIs are met.
- Support internal auditing and drive improvements through our QMS.
- Provide training to stakeholders, internal and external (where needed).
- Collaborate with sales/marketing to ensure technical accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in standard-setting committees and handle certification-related complaints.
- Regular UK and European travel required; occasional weekend work may occur.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
5+ years in food industry roles, incl. Technical / Quality Roles
HACCP and Lead Auditor certifications
Completed at least 10 audits (15+ audit days), including 5 BRCGS Food audits
Strong communicator, organised, ethical, and self-driven Experience across a wide range of product categoriesNice to Have:- Experience with other schemes: IFS, McDonald’s SQMS, Non-GMO, BRCGS Agents & Brokers, etc.
- Project management or training experience.
