Job summary

AAB is offering a 12-month placement in their Audit and Business Advisory team across UK offices. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in a professional services setting, developing technical tax knowledge and analytical skills with guidance from experienced professionals.

You will assist with client engagements, learn about accounting standards, and gain exposure to a broad range of industries while building commercial awareness and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Assist with audit working papers and financial statement reviews.
• Assist with testing financial controls and verifying supporting documentation.
• Help gather, organise, and analyse financial information for audit and advisory engagements.
• Maintain accurate records, audit files, and documentation in line with professional standards.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet client deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to business advisory projects, providing insights and support to help clients achieve their goals.
• Develop an understanding of accounting standards, regulations, and industry best practice.
