A leading accountancy practice is seeking a professional to lead technology and training initiatives in its Audit & Accounts team. This role focuses on optimizing audit systems and embedding technology to enhance workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience in audits at a managerial level with qualifications in ACA or ACCA. The position offers a salary of £63,000 to £72,000 for full-time or part-time options, with a hybrid working model supporting innovation and technology growth.
Where audit meets innovation. And where you'll help shape the future of how we work.
This is a brand-new role at Goodman Jones, created as part of our continued growth.
Our Audit & Accounts team is now over 50 people strong, the largest department in the firm. As the team grows, so does the need to ensure that our systems, workflows, training and digital capability evolve in a thoughtful, scalable and future-focused way.
You’d be stepping into this new role supporting the firm’s growth in line with our mission to ensure our people, our clients and our industry flourish over the long term.
A key part of supporting that flourishing is embracing the audit technology, digital tools and intelligent efficiencies shaping the profession, including the thoughtful, safe and purposeful use of automation and AI. This is where you come in. Your work will help teams work smarter, give clients greater clarity and quality, and ensure our audit processes continue to evolve in ways that are sustainable and future fit.
You’re probably not unhappy in your current role, but you’re keeping an eye out for something that truly uses your energy, insight and genuine passion for innovation, audit technology and intelligent automation.
You’ve spent most of your career in audit, but you’ve always gravitated towards the tools, workflows and smarter ways of working that make audits better.
You understand the impact of using audit technology properly, how it transforms efficiency, clarity and consistency, and the idea of stepping into a role where that is your entire focus feels like the natural next step.
You can see where technology can take the profession, and you’re ready to help shape that journey.

More importantly, you’re the person who:
