Job summary

PKF Littlejohn, LLP is seeking an Audit Technical Assistant Manager / Manager to support partners and staff with complex audit and UK legislation matters, applying technical expertise to ensure compliance and high-quality audits.

You will review audit reports, update methodologies, and prepare technical papers while delivering training and guidance across the firm. The role offers exposure to senior staff, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Proven post-qualification experience in audit practice or similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of UK auditing requirements including ISAs (UK) and Companies Act 2006.
• Ability to develop and deliver audit technical and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical reviews for public interest entities and scope of audit requirements.
• Support partners and staff with technical queries and audit methodology updates.
• Develop audit technical papers and update the audit manual and templates.
• Deliver audit-related training and guidance to staff and management.
• Liaise with PKF UK&I and external regulators as required.
