Job summary

Ambition, an independent accountancy practice in Central Bristol, is expanding its audit team. They seek a fully qualified Audit Senior to take ownership of assignments across diverse industries and help develop a close-knit team.

You will manage audit planning and fieldwork, review colleagues' work, and deliver high-quality statutory accounts. A proactive approach and strong UK practice experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA or ACCA
• Solid experience working within an audit team in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong project management skills and supervisory capabilities

Responsibilities

• Taking control of audit planning and fieldwork across a portfolio of clients
• Reviewing team members' work to ensure audit objectives are met
• Delivering high-quality, fully compliant financial statements across a varied client base
• Drawing on client knowledge to anticipate complex or unusual issues and address them proactively
• Supporting management, mentoring, and day-to-day development of the audit team
