Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist
• Previous audit and accounts experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office, Sage, Xero; CCH is an advantage
• Up-to-date with legislation and industry standards
• Positive, motivated team player with attention to detail
• Driver with own car preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead audit assignments from planning through fieldwork to completion
• Prepare and complete company accounts
• Identify client needs and provide solutions
• Carry out SAR and charities audits
• Prepare corporation tax computations
• Meet deadlines and stay within budget
• Mentor, supervise and train junior staff
• Research and analyse financial statements for audit issues
• Manage client information and resolve issues
• Report progress to Audit Manager or Partner
