Ambition is representing a well-established accountancy firm seeking an Audit Senior to join the Audit & Assurance team in Gatwick. You will oversee audits from planning through finalisation, mentor juniors, and lead fieldwork on-site or remotely, leveraging digital tools.

The role requires ACA/ACCA progress or qualification, 18–24 months’ UK audit experience, and strong communication skills. You will work with a diverse client base, including international groups and large corporates, while

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA qualification in progress or completed.
• 2+ years in Audit and Assurance within a UK practice.
• Experience leading external audits from fieldwork to completion per ISA.
• Knowledge of UK GAAP.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise audit assignments from planning to final completion, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
• Review work from junior team members and provide clear feedback.
• Coach and support junior colleagues in day-to-day development.
• Lead audit fieldwork both remotely and on client sites using digital tools.
• Collaborate with the wider audit team and report to an Audit Manager.
• Build strong client relationships to deliver high-quality service.
