Audit & Accounts Senior

Join this award-winning accountancy practice in the audit and accounts team based in St Albans. The Audit Senior will seek to progress their career by handling audit and accounts for SME, OMB, and other clients, with an 80/20 split biased towards audit work.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role, assisting or leading audit work, and will be looking for a rewarding yet challenging position. The role offers up to £55,000 per annum, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, hybrid working, and clear progression routes.

Job Overview

• Assist managers and partners with audit planning
• Prepare audit fieldwork at client premises
• Support the development and training of junior staff
• Develop relationships with business owners
• Lead various audits and prepare accounts and CT computations
• Prepare consolidated audits, Charities, and SRA

Job Requirements

• Qualified or studying ACA or ACCA
• Experience in a practice environment is essential
• Experience with CCH Audit Automation and CCH Central
• Broad background in accounts and audit
• Full UK driving license is preferable
