Job Description

The successful Audit Senior will plan and manage audit assignments, prepare accounts, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. You'll engage directly with clients, oversee trainees, and use leading software platforms to deliver an efficient and modern service.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and project managing a portfolio of audit clients
  • Leading a variety of audit assignments from planning to completion
  • Preparing statutory accounts for limited companies
  • Tracking job progress, budgets, and billing targets
  • Building positive client relationships and ensuring queries are resolved quickly
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately, on time, and to high standards
  • Using software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Assisting and mentoring junior staff and trainees
The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Senior will have:

  • ACA/ACCA qualification (newly qualified or experienced)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within a practice environment
  • Solid understanding of UK audit regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confidence advising and recommending solutions to clients
  • Commercial acumen and proven track record in audit delivery
  • Full UK driving licence
