Job summary

Pro Finance is recruiting an Audit Semi Senior for its Maidstone team. You will assist with planning, execution, and completion of audits for a mix of corporate and owner-managed clients, reporting to Managers and Partners in a supportive environment.

The role suits a part-qualified ACA/ACCA professional seeking exposure to larger, complex assignments and ongoing progression, with training and support toward qualification.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified and actively studying.
• External audit experience in an accountancy practice.
• Experience with corporate clients is advantageous.
• Knowledge of UK accounting principles and audit processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and Office applications.
• Familiarity with CaseWare is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, execution and completion of audit assignments.
• Work with a diverse portfolio of corporate and owner-managed clients.
• Prepare audit testing, working papers and documentation.
• Review financial statements and accounting records.
• Identify audit risks and areas for further investigation.
• Support delivery of high-quality audit reports and client recommendations.
• Build relationships with clients and act as a day-to-day contact.
• Monitor progress against budgets and deadlines.
• Collaborate with Managers and Partners on engagements.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate.
