Sumer, part of Monahans, is recruiting an Audit Semi Senior in Swindon. You will join the Audit department and support delivery of assignments for a diverse client base, from planning and fieldwork through to completion, while developing your knowledge in a professional practice.

This role is ideal for someone studying AAT Level 3 or 4 who wants hands-on experience and ongoing study support, with mentoring and structured training through the Sumer Academy.

Are you currently studying AAT Level 3 or Level 4 and looking to build a career in audit? We're looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join our growing team and develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative environment.

This role is ideal for someone who has gained some experience in accountancy or audit and is keen to expand their knowledge in a professional practice. You'll work alongside experienced auditors, supporting the delivery of audit assignments for a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries.

You’ll gain valuable hands-on experience throughout the audit process, from planning and fieldwork through to completion, while developing a strong understanding of how businesses operate and the importance of audit in providing confidence to stakeholders.

Working with experienced professionals, you’ll receive ongoing training and support to continue your AAT studies, helping you build the technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in audit. As your experience grows, you’ll take on increasing responsibility and have the opportunity to progress within the firm.

The Programme

You’ll join a training contract, combining practical client experience with professional study towards the AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification.

Alongside your qualification, you’ll become part of the Sumer Academy - our dedicated early careers development programme. The Academy runs alongside your studies, offering a blend of online, virtual and in-person learning focused on building both your technical skills and the soft skills that will help you thrive in your future career.

You’ll also train as part of a group-wide cohort, connecting with other trainees from across the Sumer Group to share experiences and learn together.
