Hawthorne-Finch Talent Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Audit Semi Senior (Part-Qualified ACCA) in Sheffield. You will support delivery of audits, own key areas as you gain experience, and work closely with seniors and managers who invest in your development.

The role offers ACCA study support, a defined progression path to Audit Senior, and a competitive salary based on experience. Office-based with client visits as required, in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' UK accountancy practice experience with audit exposure.
• Part-qualified ACCA or ACA part-qualified.
• Practical experience of audit fieldwork and producing working papers.
• Understanding of UK auditing standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong Excel skills and confidence with accounts/audit software.
• Good communication skills and professional client facing approach.
• Genuine interest in progressing into an Audit Senior role.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit planning and fieldwork across a range of clients.
• Prepare audit working papers and document findings clearly.
• Test controls and perform substantive testing.
• Support the preparation of accounts and audit completion files.

Audit Semi Senior (Part-Qualified ACCA)

Salary: £28,000-£35,000 DOE

The Role: What you'll be doing

As an Audit Semi Senior, you'll support the delivery of audit assignments and take ownership of key areas as your experience grows.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with audit planning and fieldwork across a range of clients
• Preparing audit working papers and documenting findings clearly
• Testing controls and substantive testing across key audit areas
• Supporting the preparation of accounts and audit completion files
• Liaising with clients professionally during on-site visits and remotely
• Working closely with Audit Seniors/Managers to meet deadlines and quality standards

Salary & benefits

• £28,000-£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualification progress)
