A well-established 6-partner accountancy practice in Royston is looking for an Audit Semi Senior to join their expanding team. With over 60 professionals, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected and growing firm that offers real progression opportunities through to partner level.

Your role as an Audit Semi Senior:
  • Involvement in the planning, testing and completion of audits for a wide range of clients including Aerospace, Agriculture through to Leisure and Hospitality.
  • Prepare business accounts from client records.
  • General ledger operations and journal entry preparation.
  • Prepare business tax computations and VAT returns.
  • Assist with personal tax returns and year-end processes.
  • Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
  • Support senior accountants in preparing financial and management accounts.
  • Liaise directly with clients and assist with system reviews.
  • Assist junior members of staff and support the wider team.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified or AAT qualified.
  • 2-3 years' experience in accountancy practice.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as IRIS, Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or CCH.
  • Have full rights to work in the UK.
