The Role

The firm offers a flexible approach and can tailor responsibilities around your strengths. Your typical duties could include:

Preparing year-end accounts for companies, partnerships, and sole traders
Supporting and undertaking management accounts work
Taking a key role in audits, ensuring high standards throughout the assignment
Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for smaller clients
Handling VAT returns and client queries
Preparing personal tax returns
Managing your own client portfolio and maintaining strong communication
Drafting audit planning memorandums and applying appropriate audit testing
Supervising and supporting junior team members as needed
Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in line with firm procedures

About You

Part-qualified ACA or ACCA (or working towards it)
At least 2 years’ experience in an audit/accounts role within practice
Excellent attention to detail and time management
A solid understanding of accounts preparation and audit principles
Experience with software such as Excel, Xero, QuickBooks, Sage or Caseware (desirable)
Great interpersonal and communication skills
A proactive and team-oriented attitude
