Job summary

Cooper Parry in the UK offers an Audit placement year designed to provide hands-on exposure to statutory audits across a range of clients. You’ll join a collaborative team and gain experience that supports your path to becoming a qualified accountant.

The role begins in early September 2027 with assessment centres on 4 November, 26 January and 30 March. You should be studying an undergraduate degree with at least 3 A Levels at BBC, including a numerical or business subject.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and documenting client information like invoices, bank statements, and payroll reports.
• Assessing the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
• Attending client year-end stocktakes (sometimes on weekends or around Christmas).
• Communicating with client finance teams to understand their systems and processes.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements using our audit software.
• Working in small teams to carry out financial testing and contribute to audit reports.
• Meeting deadlines and supporting your team to deliver high-quality work.
