Job summary

Fletcher George is recruiting for an Assistant Audit Manager based in Weybridge with hybrid working. The role involves leading audit assignments, providing technical guidance, and coaching junior staff within a Chartered Accountancy practice.

The successful candidate will hold ACA or ACCA qualifications, have strong IT skills (Caseware), and bring knowledge of UK GAAP and UK ISAs. Salary range £50,000–£60,000 with a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA with post-qualification experience in practice.
• Strong IT skills and experience using Caseware.
• Ability to coach and mentor junior staff.
• Solid knowledge of UK GAAP and UK ISAs.

Responsibilities

• Review audit assignments and draft opinions.
• Prepare complex statutory accounts using Caseware.
• Provide technical guidance on UK GAAP and UK ISAs.
• Review straightforward corporation tax computations.
• Coach and mentor junior team members.
• Manage client relationships and audit timetables.
• Plan resources and prioritize assignments.
