Job summary

eps.group services is seeking an Audit Manager to lead and own a diverse client portfolio in Thame. You will oversee audits from planning through to completion, ensure timely delivery within budgets, and act as the primary client contact, driving high-quality service.

You will mentor juniors and contribute to winning new work through proposals. The role requires ACA/ACCA qualifications with strong IFRS and FRS 102 knowledge and a proactive, commercially minded communicator.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, gained within practice.
• Broad audit experience across client portfolios.
• Confident applying IFRS and FRS 102.
• Experience managing a client portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Leading the audit process and file reviews from planning through to completion.
• Owning delivery for your portfolio — timescales, budgets and quality.
• Being the day-to-day contact clients trust, providing a responsive, high-quality service.
• Line-managing and developing junior members of the team.
• Preparing proposals and presenting to prospective clients.

Audit Manager | Thame | £60,000 – £75,000 | Permanent, Full-Time

A qualified auditor ready to step up and run your own portfolio, with the autonomy to shape how the job gets done? This is a strong opportunity with a well-regarded practice in Thame.

You'll take ownership of the audit process for a varied client portfolio, leading fieldwork and file reviews, keeping jobs on time and on budget, and being the trusted point of contact your clients rely on. You'll also mentor and line-manage junior colleagues, and get involved in winning new work through proposals and pitches.
