Are you an Audit Manager looking to move from Practice into Commerce and Industry?

We are exclusively recruiting for a newly created in-house Audit Manager position for an exciting high growth PE backed business.

Our client is offering a salary of £75,000 - £85,000, plus bonus and excellent career development opportunities in a dynamic, fast growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Group Finance Manager in managing the group audit.
  • Liaise with the external audit team at PWC.
  • Perform technical audit preparation work.
  • Manage the pre-audit timetable and ensure audit works are completed on schedule.
  • Produce technical memos and work papers.
  • Produce consolidated accounts for the group across multiple currencies and territories.
  • Ensure group acquisitions are integrated into the audit programme.
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • Manage the audit process to achieve the company goal of reducing the audit period from 13 months in 2024, to 9 months in 2025, and towards the target of 5 months.
Qualifications
  • ACA qualified with strong post-qualification experience in mid-market audit.
  • Ambitious Audit Manager from a top 20 accountancy practice environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong inter-personal skills and effective communication at all levels both within the business and externally.
  • Offering a salary of £75,000 - £85,000
  • Annual bonus c. 10%
  • Hybrid working (3 days a week in office)
  • Occasional international travel
