S1jobs in Edinburgh is seeking an ACA/ACCA-qualified Audit Manager to lead a portfolio of audited entities, ensuring high-quality work is delivered within budget and agreed timescales.

You will work with a management team on resource planning, merit rate discussions and efficiency gains, while supporting Partners with new business strategies and client development. Hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required.
• Experience at assistant manager level or higher.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and multi-entity portfolios.
• Broad audit experience with high-quality deliverables.

Responsibilities

Your new role

• Be responsible for dealing with all matters relatingto the management of a portfolio of audited entities.
• Complete assignments within agreed budgets andtimescales and identify opportunities for additional billings.
• Ensure assignments are staffed with the appropriatemix of knowledge and skills required.
• Ensure that the firm's risk management and qualitycontrol procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Work as part of a management team with other AuditManagers within the business group (e.g. resource planning, merit rate meetingsand efficiency gains)
• Support Partners with the implementation andcommunication of any new business strategy for existing and target auditentities as well as the internal business.

What you'll need to succeed

• Candidates must be ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Previous experience operating at assistant manager level or above in a similar role;
• Proven experience of managing a portfolio of clientsand developing strong client relationships;
• Proven broad audit experience in producing highquality audits;
