Job summary

MHA is seeking an Audit Junior for an Apprenticeship Programme in the United Kingdom. You’ll work with diverse client teams, learn on the job, and start building your professional qualification while gaining hands-on experience across audits and accounts preparation.

You’ll spend time at MHA offices and travel to client sites, supported by mentorship and a structured study package to help you achieve ACA/ACCA through on-the-job training.

• Achieved or predicted at least 112 UCAS points from top subjects or equivalent.
• Comfortable with travel to client sites and meeting new people.
• Eagerness to pursue Professional Qualification (AAT/ACA/ACCA) and learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• As some client locations may be more difficult to reach by public transport, being able to travel independently and having access to a car can be beneficial for this role.
• From an early stage, you’ll build relationships with clients, ask questions, and gather the information and evidence you need to support your work, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the audit team.
• You’ll develop your understanding of financial information and business processes, carry out testing and analytical work, and use your curiosity and professional judgement to explore anything that requires further attention.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Audit Junior, you’ll experience the power of collaboration as you work with diverse teams on real projects, build lasting connections with colleagues and start off by learning the fundamentals, including:

• Working on audit and accounts preparation assignments with your team,
• Working closely with your mentor on audit planning memorandum,
• Analytical reviews,
• Drafting client letters,
• Preparing accounts and producing sets of financial statements.
• Studying towards Professional Qualification (AAT Level 3,4 and ACA Level 7)
