Job summary

MHA is seeking an Audit Junior for our apprenticeship programme in the United Kingdom. You will gain hands-on experience, benefit from mentorship, and work on real projects from day one, with on-the-job training and a focus on professional qualification.

You’ll rotate between MHA offices and client sites, developing your understanding of financial information and business processes, while building relationships and delivering value beyond the numbers.

• As some client locations may be more difficult to reach by public transport, being able to travel independently and having access to a car can be beneficial for this role.
• From an early stage, you’ll build relationships with clients, ask questions and gather the information and evidence you need to support your work, while collaborating closely with colleagues across the audit team.
• You’ll develop your understanding of financial information and business processes, carry out testing and analytical work, and use your curiosity and professional judgement to explore anything that requires further attention.

What You Will Be Doing

As an Audit Junior, you’ll experience the power of collaboration as you work with diverse teams on real projects, building lasting connections with colleagues and start off by learning the fundamentals, including:

• Working on audit and accounts preparation assignments with your team,
• Working closely with your mentor on audit planning memorandum,
• Analytical reviews,
• Drafting client letters,
• Preparing accounts and producing sets of financial statements.
• Studying towards Professional Qualification (AAT Level 3, 4 and ACA Level 7)
