Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is recruiting for an audit-focused trainee/apprentice role designed to develop technical and professional skills from day one. You’ll work on diverse client engagements, learn audit processes, and gain hands-on experience with data analytics and AI-powered tools as you study towards a professional qualification.

• Use audit technology, AI-powered tools and data analytics to interpret large volumes of data and improve audit quality.
• Research accounting and auditing standards and help apply them to client situations in a practical way.
• Work closely with clients and colleagues, gathering information and contributing to meetings and reports.
• Collaborate with specialists across Audit, Tax and Advisory to gain a broader understanding of client challenges and solutions.
• Take on increasing responsibility as you develop, building technical expertise and client relationships.

About our team

Join our Industry & Services Audit team, working with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from privately owned businesses to large listed and international organisations across sectors including manufacturing, retail, technology, energy and professional services. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of businesses while developing valuable technical, commercial and client-facing skills.

Eligibility and Requirements

• GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade 4/C (or equivalent qualifications).
• Achieved a minimum of 112 UCAS tariff points from your top three A Levels, BTECs, Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers, or other recognised Level 3 qualifications.
• Achieved or predicted a 2:1 degree classification (or equivalent).
