About the Audit Social Sector Team

Our Social Sector Audit team delivers specialist audit and advisory services to educational institutions, housing associations, and charities. This role offers the chance to combine a career in audit with meaningful social impact.

About the role

As a graduate trainee you will enter a three‑year training contract focused on building deep auditing expertise and client relationships.

Year 1
  • Master the art of auditing: Prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
  • Financial statements: Develop an in-depth understanding of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flows.
  • Work side by side with clients: Immerse yourself in diverse businesses, understanding their operations and challenges.
  • Build relationships: Connect with key stakeholders both client‑side and within your team and across service lines.
Years 2 and 3

Progress to increasingly complex audit work such as revenue recognition, valuation, and risk assessment. Take ownership of engagements, lead delivery, and mentor junior colleagues. Upon completion you will transition to a permanent role, marking the start of a long‑term career at Forvis Mazars.
