Hays is recruiting an Audit Associate for a leading accountancy and business advisory firm in Norwich. You will join a collaborative audit team, supporting a diverse client portfolio, performing planning, testing and fieldwork while developing your technical and client-facing skills.

The role offers study support, flexible hybrid working and clear progression opportunities. Candidates should have at least two years of audit experience in UK practice and be on track for ACA/ACCA/AAT

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of audit experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Solid understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, execution and completion of audit assignments.
• Undertake substantive and analytical audit testing.
• Prepare and maintain high-quality audit documentation and working papers.
• Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements from client records.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
