You will undertake work under the assignment leader, attend daily progress meetings, and strive to complete tasks within budget while maintaining high professional standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Degree level requirements for ACA trainee
• UCAS points and GCSEs as stated
• Develop knowledge of accounting and auditing techniques

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of accounting and auditing techniques and commence professional examinations (ACA)
• Understand Financial Services sector including insurance, funds and fund management
• Undertake work assigned by the assignment leader and report progress at daily meetings
• Ensure attendance at briefing meetings and follow audit plan
• Complete work within budget per area and maintain professional standards
• Develop a working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and audit sections
• Pass relevant professional examinations first time and complete CII study exams
• Advise on basic accounting issues and adhere to ethical guidelines
