Qualifications

  • Fully ACA/ACCA qualified.
  • Demonstrable audit and accounts experience gained within a professional services firm.
  • Excellent communication skills, both internally and directly with clients.
  • Capacity to manage projects and to generate engagement with the stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience of supervising others and delegation of work.
  • Clear ability to organise self and others, such that you can work on several different assignments at one time.

  • Ensure that clients receive an efficient and proactive service and expectations are exceeded.
  • Identify issues and agree resolution with client Partner or Director, ensuring they are up to date with the jobs progress.
  • Awareness of commercial aspects of clients business and its impact on our work.
  • Identify and highlight any opportunities for S&W apparent from work undertaken.
  • Regular discussions with the client to confirm progress, identify solutions to any issues and ensure reasonable expectations are met.

What will you be doing?

Following S&W's expansion into the North East we've experienced significant growth in our audit business. Servicing some of the most successful businesses and entrepreneurs in the UK. With such growth comes great opportunities to expand the team across the board. As such, we're seeking a talented individual to join our Audit team in Newcastle. You will be responsible for planning, performing and completing the audit process for each assignment. You will ensure clients are provided with a high-quality service, through the effective management of resources and liaison with relevant departments.
