Overview

NXTGEN are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager to join a growing and successful firm in Cambridge who provide a wide range of top-quality services to their clients. This is a hands-on and varied role, perfect for someone looking to take the next step in their audit career with a supportive and forward-thinking team.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on smaller audit assignments and support on larger, more complex engagements across a broad and diverse client portfolio.
  • Prepare accounts and provide support on corporation tax matters.
  • Develop technical expertise and leadership skills within a collaborative team environment.
Ideal Experience / Qualifications
  • Strong background in audit gained within a UK accountancy practice
  • ICAEW or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience (finalists will also be considered)
  • Confident in audit planning and accounts preparation under UK GAAP
  • Experience with CCH or similar software would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and a genuine team player
