Our external audit graduate apprenticeship programme gives you all the skills and support you need to unlock a future packed with opportunities and new experiences. You’ll enjoy a fast‑tracked business career that recognises your potential and rewards your ambition.
When you join our team, you’ll learn on the job and receive structured training, and benefit from an impressive client list. We nurture individuality and support everyone to reach their potential, so you’ll always be moving forward.
We carry out a detailed, risk‑based review of a company’s financial records and control environment to form an opinion on whether the financial statements prepared by the directors are true and fair.
A robust audit challenges the financial operations of a company and improves its internal workings, providing confidence to stakeholders as the financial statements are the only public documents a company will issue.
From day one you will be a key member of the team, working on client work quickly and gradually taking individual responsibility for projects. You’ll work with a wide variety of organisations, including listed financial institutions, national retail chains, high‑profile charities and international clients operating throughout the UK and beyond.
During the apprenticeship you’ll develop to the ACA qualification with the ICAEW, or your CA qualification with ICAS or CAI, while gaining top‑quality career development support and on‑the‑job training from senior members of the team.
We seek enthusiastic self‑starters who thrive on challenge, grasp new subjects quickly and have confidence with numbers, great attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Financial acumen is essential and expected from the start.
We support flexible working to help staff balance family and other responsibilities alongside work commitments, creating an inspiring and fulfilling environment.
High performers may be offered a role in another location or department if their first preference is unavailable; this will be discussed with them. We consider only one application per recruitment cycle, and do not accept multiple applications for different vacancies.
We value passion, personality and originality alongside academic achievement.
UCAS has changed its points system; under the old tariff the threshold would be 280 or 260 points respectively.
We aim to create a strong sense of belonging so that people of all identities, backgrounds and cultures feel they can bring their true self to work. Our clients and teams reflect diverse perspectives, which broadens ideas and insights. We are committed to ensuring our principles and processes support a culture that embraces difference and strengthens inclusion.
